practice, practice, practice.....

Today was all about one practice shoot after another! I have some amazing, patient friends in my life that have allowed Brianna (the other P-I-T) and I to shoot them. Yesterday, we started the shoot with Malaena-Sloan and let me say....HOT OUTSIDE, MALAE IN A MOOD and the rest is history! NOT AN EASY SHOOT! Malaena-Sloan was OVER US! She had zero and I mean ZERO interest in looking at any camera. She was HOT and wanted a sucker and a Diet Coke (hey....we are so not above BRIBERY!)

Today began in a scary way! The child that is NEVER sick awoke saying booboo. I looked at her leg and it was swollen double under her knee and had fever in it. I don't get freaked out about many things and she was walking on it, but in my mind, I figured Donnie and I would be in the ER all day. I'm almost embarrassed but relieved to say that Malaena-Sloan is HIGHLY allergic to MOSQUITOS! She's on 5 days of antibiotics and anti-itch cream. UNREAL! We live in Southeast (better known as SWAMPEAST) Missouri where the mosquitoes will carry you off!

After getting her to school, we had a practice shoot with my friends two children. Then we moved on to LaDonna. Donnie, my husband, grew up with LaDonna's parents and introduced them. LaDonna and I share the same birthday, and we have truly been blessed having her involved at McAlister's Deli as well as "JUST KIDS." We love LaDonna and I am so thankful that she took the time to let us practice.

Our day was finished with shooting 7 more people! More images to follow at a later day! My boss hasn't seen the images to follow to approve my work, but I just had to share!
