So, from time to time, I may post on our blog some of my "special" shoots! This one is so special because my Aunt Brenda asked me to shoot her granddaughter, Mycah. Mycah lives in Oklahoma, so what an honor it was when asked if I'd take her picture. I think Mycah had fun cause we played peek-a-boo, Simon Says and she got to tell me about things she liked. Many have asked what camera I shoot with and other equipment questions. Before anyone asks, it's the same Canon I've shot with for over a year (well, actually, it's a new one as mine broke last Monday and thank God we bought the extended warranty.) My husband got me a GREAT new L lens. These images were taken with it.
I hope you can begin to see my improvement....TRUST ME, I LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY TIME I WORK WITH MY TEACHER, SHERI!!!! I will have a 2 week boot camp the end of July! I'll be shooting non-stop with Sheri telling me what I'm doing wrong and the few things I'm doing right!
Malaena-Sloan wanted to be in a lot of the shots but would walk in and out before I could even shoot. She's so funny as she'll look at the camera for everyone taking her picture but ME!!!!

Malaena-Sloan totally did this on her own! I had been playing peek-a-boo with Mycah to get some cute shots and Ms. Thang hopped up and did it on her own!

Great photos! What kind of lens did you get?
I use a canon rebel, but I think mine needs an adjustment after my honey dropped it.
