Forever Family Day....

The boys were tired but thrilled to have their sister at home!!!
Proud Parents! Finally home with our daughter. This was minutes before midnight and Malaena-Sloan woke up for her brothers to perform!

WOW! ONE YEAR! I can't believe a year ago today I walked off the plane in St. Louis only to find our dear friends, Eric, Chantelle and Bianca waiting to greet us! It was an amazing day from start to finish. Malaena-Sloan was an active little 7 month old, and I wondered what a 4 hour plane ride and 2 hour car ride would be like. NEVER did I imagine such a smooth day....God is good!

This morning isn't necessarily what I had hoped for to celebrate this day. Brock tried out for Marching Mizzou yesterday. He left the house at 4:30am and returned at 12:30am. It was a super long day for him but he did make the band! So, Brock sleeps in this morning, Alex sleeps in this morning, Donnie and Logan left the house at 7:30am for basketball games.....so that leaves Sassy and Mama! Malaena-Sloan slept in until 9am! Yeah for me! We should have gotten the boys up and gone to church, but I've just been enjoying being at home with my girl. She woke up smiling and hungry....she's just like her Mama!!!

My goal for this day is to get one picture of all 6 of us together! I have only achieved two of these in a year, so we will see!!!

COngratulations on Brock making the Mizzou band. We used to attend and march in their homecoming parade. I was on the flag corp at Hazelwood Central. It was such fun to then watch the football game and band at half time.

Congrats also on your one year! How time flies when they get home.
