This was Susie and Bella hanging out with Malaena-Sloan and me pool side at the Marriott in Guatemala. What an amazing time we shared. I just wanted to post a quick update about Bella. She had her first chemo treatment and surgery to install her port on Monday. Susie's been great about posting pictures, and Bella looks like she's doing well. If you saw her, I don't think you'd ever dream she had a bad illness! Susie has cabin fever (or hospital fever, I should say.) Please, pray that Bella is protected from any germs that she may be able to get home to her family by the weekend. I think this will help her heal as well as her Mama! I got to have a long conversation with my dear friend, Susie, last night. That woman is amazing. Instead of me lifting her up, she's lifting me up. Her faith in God is amazing, and like she told me, God has truly paved the way already for their family in this journey. When talking with Sus, I can just see God performing one miracle after another. Thanks for all the continued prayers for them.

I'm praying for Bella and Susie!! I can't read about her without becoming tearfull!! So many children suffering right now but I am glad we have an almighty God to turn to in our times of need!
Cheri, I wish there was something I could do to help out. Please let me know if you can think of anything they need. It breaks my heart and I feel so bad for them. Susie amazes me at how strong she has been. Courtney
