This morning about 9am, I thought, at this time in two weeks, Pedro will be delivering Malaena-Sloan to me FOREVER! WOW!!!! I am now imagining Malaena-Sloan being "in" our lives, instead of us going to spend short spurts with her in Guatemala in a hotel room. I've got the carseat ready to go in the car, I've got the highchair in place, and I think all of the essentials for the pick-up trip are purchased and packed. My Aunt Carlene advised me to get the space savers to pack with. Not only is Malaena-Sloan's suitcase organized, I can get twice as much in it in the organized fashion. Mom was here today, and she and I purchased more space savers to use in my suitcase and also for the amount of diapers I need to take. I will definitely weigh all bags before leaving for the airport!
We had a "Praise the Lord" today, as my dad had an EGD and a colonoscopy with a clean bill of health. With Uncle Royce (dad's brother) battling colon cancer, this was such a relief. Please keep him in your prayers.
Tricia Lawrenson (Confessions of a CF Husband blog) seems to be recovering nicely. She received her new lungs Friday, I believe. She's breathing on her own and walking already. AMAZING!
