I LOVE.....

I have decided to use this blog as a book to give Malaena when she is old enough to appreciate it. I wanted to stop today and thank God for the many people He has blessed my life with. My family and friends mean so much to me, and I realize I do not have enough pictures of some dear family members and friends. I love my husband, Donnie, dearly. He and I have had truly an amazing year. We have been so blessed with Brock, Alex and Logan, in watching them grow into fine, young men. I know that very soon, we are going to have some great times watching our boys fall in love with their little sis! I dream about this all the time!

This morning, I got to spend time with my 92-year-old Grandma, and you can see her in the picture with my family. She was dressed in her red blouse and was going to eat lunch with the women in her Sunday school class. Grandma is such a wonderful role model for me, and she's so excited for us to get Malaena home!

Donnie and I stayed a couple of nights with my Mom and Dad as our power was out. It was nice spending time with them. I am so thankful for my parents. My brother came by early yesterday morning because my beautiful niece wanted to spend time with her Aunt Cheri! Last night, we ate dinner with my sister-in-law, Christy, my newphews (Drew and Owen) and my niece, Lauren. I held my 2 month old nephew a lot! I'm sure at 2 months, he's as big as Malaena at 4 1/2 months! Lauren and I were cheerleaders and I gave Lauren a "makeover" with my make-up (her idea.) It's funny that when you don't have electricity, you have some memorable moments with your family that you'll treasure forever!
