This is Malaena-Sloan with Aunt Penny. Pen and I have been friends since we were 6-years-old, and I still get to spend tons of time with her. Malae and I went down to our office and had lunch with Penny. Well, Malae likes to feel the air on her face out the window, so Pen just stuck her in the window sill and she LOVED it!!!!
My daddy turned 66 yesterday, so Malaena-Sloan and I went down to celebrate with him. This is my daddy's sister, Aunt Mary Frances, with him. We had lunch at Grandma Fortner's....GREAT food and GREAT visit! I truly can't believe Malaena-Sloan turned 18 months old today! She is such a joy in our lives and we are amazed at how smart this little tike is. What is surprising is how "clingy" she has been to Mama!!!! I think a lot of it is she hasn't really felt well in 3 weeks. I broke down Tuesday and took her to the doctor, and she had fluid behind her eardrums. The doc gave her an antibiotic....first one since she came home. She has slept better the last couple of nights....thank you LORD! What else about Mae-Sloan?! She is a super friendly child. When the doorbell rings, she gets SSSOOO excited and runs to see who it is. She gives the best LOVIN'! She hugs with two arms and squeezes. She loves giving kisses and one of my favorite things is her "pat, pat, pat's". When we go to eat at McAlister's, she waves or says hi to nearly everyone. She is there so much that she will venture off from me and greet folks. She'll now tell you a story and works her hands. Lastly, she can jump and both feet leave the ground. I'm telling you, she's going to be an athlete!!!!

Happy 18 month bday, Malaena! Tell your mama to post a video of you so we can watch you having fun and jumping! Bella will squeal when she sees it!
