Today, as we were flying home from Hawaii, I was thinking about our daughter in Guatemala. I know at our preschools, we tell the little ones stories about Christ's resurrection (in simple terms, of course), color eggs and do the traditional Easter egg hunt. I was wondering if they talk to Malaena and tell her the awesome gift God gave us by sacrificing His son. Well, it's a bummer that we aren't getting to share Malaena's first Easter with her, and dress up her in the frilly little pink dress that we got for her. My prayer is that God is providing Malaena with caregivers that are giving her lots of love. I am also praying that God will manifest our OUT this week. I told Donnie today that I pray she is home for Mother's Day. For now, we will focus on the family that is around us and share the day tomorrow with family and friends we love so much. Happy Easter to each of you!
