This is Malaena-Sloan first thing this morning! We were both SO EXCITED that Donnie was enroute to be with us!
This picture was right after we got to our hotel room! Daddy was taking a good look at his baby girl!
My first picture with MY DADDY since December 11, 2007! Man, was I glad to see him!
Smiling at MY DADDY!!!First of all, what an awesome day God blessed us with. We got up rather early this morning, and got around! Malaena had her bath and I was dressed with make-up on before 8:30am! Amy had to give Isabel back to her foster mother which was a bummer, but we had an awesome week with her. Malaena-Sloan and I breakfast with Amy and saw her off, then we got our stuff settled in our hotel room. I fixed bottles for the day, then headed downstairs to wait for our shuttle to the airport. We left at 1pm to meet Daddy. I stuck our like a sore thumb standing with all the locals waiting for Donnie. I had Malaena-Sloan papoosed to the front of me with video camera in hand. Baby Girl woke up right as Daddy walked up, and I had a video camera malfunction so I only was able to get some of it on disc.
The rest of the evening was awesome except for the fact now I have to share "holding time" with Donnie. Malaena-Sloan lights up like a Christmas tree with Donnie. It's awesome to watch. The two are in bed already, and Malaena is already sleeping.
One more PRAISE THE LORD! My son, Brock, scored a one at the State Music Competition playing his marimba solo! I am so, so proud of him!
I just got off the phone with Amy, and she was close to home. I know her trip was bittersweet! I'm headed to bed! Some of my friends, Susie and Candy, will arrive tomorrow! We all have the same embassy day! It's going to be a FUN WEEK!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT THAT Big D is there!!!! So happy for you guys!!!! Man Donnie looks like one proud pappa.... I will have to let Bianca down gently when I tell her that she is going to be #2 Little Miss Sweet Tea. She is tough, she can handle it!ha ha I hope you guys have a fantastic week together. It will be the one week in Malaena-Sloan's little life that she gets to really know her parents with NO interupptions!!! What a gift. You guys can start to get caught up on all of those hugs and kisses you have missed. She looks like she is feeling great. We all eagerly await your return...And by the way I was at the store today and it was CRAZY busy!!!Thought you might like to know!! I am just tooooo happy for you crazy kids! I am sending up lots of prayers of thanks for this MAJOR answered prayer from God!

I'm glad to hear Donnie made it there safe and sound!! Looks like Malaena already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger!!
